Tuesday, March 1, 2011 at 10:49AM Here is the first release from U.V.L.B...It has been exciting to see them morph their sound into a fresh direction and I was excited when they asked me to produce their EP. I have never had so much creative freedom with someone I was working with before. They handed me over the raw vocal and acoustic guitar tracks and told me to do whatever I felt with songs adding the MitraMusic sound. (Big shout out to Bear Erickson of Erickson sound Labs for stellar source tracks and production!) It was refreshing to have an artist instill that much trust in my production and sounds. What an ideal way to work!
What came out of the project is three solid songs which they are giving away as a FREE download. It will be fun to see U.V.L.B. evolve with their music and I have a feeling there will be quite a few more collaborations down the line...
